Q. What is a Communications Audit?
A. Datalinc will visit your business and assess your communications needs as well as their design. We will make recommendations in the areas where we can see a need for improvement and provide a quote from certified vendors for that product. The information provided from these quotes will give you insight to you current applications and allow you the ability to assess your needs now and for the future.
Q. What are some of the ways that this will benefit my company in reference to saving money and not just spending?
A. There are a couple of ways that this can allow for you to save funds immediately.
• One is that we will evaluate the Internet and Phone service from your current provider (ie. AT&T) to see if there are some new products on the market that will allow for savings every month. This is probably one of the easiest ways to save money as well as increase efficiency and performance for your system. Please note if you are in a current contract with a service provider we can assist with having you released from your current contract. Usually the savings found in this area is well worth the minimal penalties inflicted by the current provider.
• Second is a combination of new server applications on the market and rack space. Since server space is becoming an issue for many companies there are certain rack mountable products that will allow for your data racks to be managed more effectively with respect to space, which can result in capital saved.
